Mark your calendars for the Express Yourself! Art Auction happening on April 20 from 10 a.m. to noon at the center located at 326 Hardy Road. This exciting event will offer a silent auction, brunch hors d’oeuvres, and a variety of original art pieces and merchandise available for purchase.

Witness Kendrell Daniels, a talented senior art major affiliated with the center, showcase his foot-painting skills live during the event. Visitors can also explore and purchase various artworks from other participants in the program, including greeting cards, prints, paintings, and ceramics.

Support the Express Yourself! program by participating in the auction, the primary fundraiser to provide inclusive art opportunities for individuals with disabilities. This initiative includes a range of offerings such as weekly programs for children, personalized art lessons, and art therapy sessions.

“We are excited to highlight the diversity and creativity of our artists through our annual art showcase,” stated Kasee K. Stratton-Gadke, the executive director of the Mississippi Institute on Disabilities, the parent organization of the T.K. Martin Center. “Community involvement in this event not only empowers our artists but also enhances the inclusive nature of Express Yourself!”
