Plans don’t always go according to plan – even when there’s a detailed lesson plan. And now, you can listen directly from teachers about the times they adapted those plans, whether it was on the spot or after gaining a new perspective from another experience.

Join us for the “From Lesson Plan to New Plan” teacher story slam scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m., Friday, March 1, at Fay Biccard Glick Neighborhood Center, located at 2990 W. 71st St., Indianapolis.

This event is brought to you by Indy Kids Winning and Indiana, and is supported by Teach Indy.

This story slam is a continuation of the story slams hosted by Teachers Lounge Indy that provided teachers with a platform to share their stories, connect with each other, and learn from one another. This time, it also serves as the evening before the Teach Indy Educators Conference.

Come and listen to these stories, meet other educators, and have a taste of handcrafted vegan wines from Sip & Share Wines.

To attend, sign up here for a complimentary ticket on Eventbrite: https://ckbe.at/indystoryslam.

Also, if you’re an educator and would like to share your story, please let us know here.
