I am hopeful about AI’s impact on education. Esteemed individuals like Michael Horn and John Bailey have highlighted the significant benefits it offers. There is a surge in the use of AI tools by high school students, with nearly half of them utilizing such tools. Moreover, various education platforms showcase students’ innovative use of AI, such as creating 911 chatbots and postpartum depression apps.

However, recent events like the Google Gemini debacle have made me cautious about AI in education. The mishap with Google Gemini, a search engine titan that dominates 85% of the market, raises concerns about the direction we are heading in.
