Feb. 22 marks the deadline for Spirit of State Awards nomination window

Mississippi State University is set to honor the exceptional contributions made by our students in enhancing student life through the 19th annual Spirit of State Awards.

These prestigious awards are available to all students at Mississippi State University, regardless of their campus, and aim to celebrate outstanding achievements in campus engagement, service to the university community, demonstration of the Spirit of State values, and overall influence on peers and the wider campus community.

We kindly ask for your assistance in identifying students who exemplify the Spirit of State and ensuring they are informed about this esteemed recognition program. Additionally, we encourage you to support exceptional students by submitting nominations on their behalf.

Students who believe they embody the spirit of this award, as well as those who wish to nominate a deserving student, can complete the appropriate forms at www.saffairs.msstate.edu/spirit.

The nomination and application forms will both be available starting Thursday [Feb. 1].

All nominations must be submitted online before 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 22. Similarly, all applications must be submitted online by 11:59 p.m. on Feb. 26.

The awards ceremony will take place during a special recognition program on April 26.
