The cruise company recently introduced a new discount exclusively for educators and related personnel, providing them with a 5% reduction on their cruise fare along with a $50 onboard credit. This ongoing promotion coincides with the re-launch of the Giving Joy initiative by Norwegian Cruise Line, which recognizes teachers who are positively impacting their classrooms and communities by granting them complimentary trips, as stated in a press release.

In celebration of the fifth anniversary of the Giving Joy program, Norwegian Cruise Line plans to award 20 teachers with a complimentary voyage on the upcoming ship, Norwegian Aqua. Additionally, the company has extended its appreciation to the broader educational community in the U.S. and Canada by introducing the Teacher Cruise Discount, Herrera highlighted the educational benefits of travel and eagerly anticipates educators joining them on board to enrich their worldly experiences.

The discount is applicable to active classroom teachers from pre-K to 12th grade, principals, assistant principals, school personnel, as well as college and university professors, specified on the cruise line’s website.
