Mississippi State Reveals Schedule for 38th Annual Super Bulldog Weekend

STARKVILLE – A vast array of activities and fan interactions are primed to be the focal point of an exhilarating weekend in the Premier Small Town in the South. The 38th installment of the Super Bulldog weekend, a cherished Mississippi State spring homecoming tradition, is scheduled for April 19-21.

Parking: Complimentary parking for the Maroon and White Spring Football Game can be found south of Davis Wade Stadium in the below listed lots: Dorman Hall, Fresh Food Company, and Newell-Grissom.

Commencing The Lebby Era: Enthusiasts of the Bulldogs will witness the debut of “SHOWTIME at STATE” under the leadership of new head football coach Jeff Lebby on April 20 at Davis Wade Stadium.

  • The traditional Maroon and White Spring Football Game will start off the events on Saturday at 1 p.m.
  • An array of new and captivating activities will showcase the event with on-field discussions, special appearances by past players, and in-game multimedia elements.
  • This year’s game format will pit offense against defense with a unique scoring system.
  • Entry is FREE.
  • Gates (H & L) will open at noon.
  • The East side of Davis Wade Stadium is designated for seating, and usual screening protocols will be enforced.
  • Attendees will receive a complimentary 2024 schedule poster upon entry to the stadium.
  • The new “SHOWTIME at STATE” merchandise will be up for sale in the east concourse.
  • Coach Lebby and the football program eagerly await the return of numerous ex-players to Davis Wade Stadium.
  • The match will also be live-streamed on SEC Network+ via the ESPN App for those who cannot attend.

Meet You At The Dude: The nationally ranked Diamond Dawgs will face Auburn in a three-game SEC series at Dudy Noble Field, which boasts 24 of the top 25 single-game attendance records on campus.

  • Game times are set for 6 p.m. on Friday, 5 p.m. on Saturday, and 1 p.m. on Sunday.
  • Throughout the weekend, fans can indulge in an expanded right-field area that will open two hours prior to game time. Attractions will include live music, food trucks, State Style Store, and a large screen for viewing.
  • Take advantage of the Super Bulldog Weekend Spring Sale, the biggest sale of the year with discounts ranging from 25 to 75 percent, available only in the expanded right-field location.

Fireworks And Drone Show: Following the Friday and Saturday night baseball games, Dudy Noble Field will showcase a fireworks display, sponsored by Pearl River Resort and Adidas.

  • Friday’s postgame will also feature a drone exhibition akin to the 2023 Egg Bowl halftime show but tailored to MSU baseball.

Autograph Session: The Bulldog Initiative will host an autograph session with chosen student-athletes in the expanded right-field area prior to the start of the game on Saturday at Dudy Noble Field.

Resurgence of the Super Dawg: The beloved Super Dawg will make a comeback at The Dude this weekend. The delicious Super Dawg comprises Country Pleasin’ Smoked Sausage, pulled brisket, BBQ sauce, slaw, and pickles served on three toasted slider buns.

  • The Super Dawg will be exclusively available at the Hail State Eats location in the first-base concourse.

New in 2024: Below are some new, supplementary amenities accessible for fans.

  • Mississippi local 1817 Brewery craft beer will be offered for sale at Dudy Noble Field’s home-plate entrance.
  • M over S Yeti 20 oz. tumblers will be exclusively sold at the Adkerson Plaza in right field.
  • The limited-edition Ron Polk Collection will be available at the State Style Store location in the first-base concourse.
