Introducing the future wealthy African American entrepreneurs of SheaMoisture.

In 2021, SheaMoisture collaborated with the New Voices Foundation to establish The Next Black Millionaires Program. This initiative aims to support Black entrepreneurs by providing them with financial assistance, retail distribution opportunities, access to investment networks, and more. To increase the visibility of the program’s three winners, SheaMoisture joined forces with Roku Originals and MACRO Television Studios to produce a six-episode series that chronicles how each entrepreneur utilized their $100,000 grant to expand and develop their businesses. On July 9th, 2023, SheaMoisture announced that Target will stock select products from each winning brand at over six hundred of its stores nationwide.
SheaMoisture has consistently demonstrated its dedication to supporting the Black community and facilitating the growth of Black wealth over time. Following the acquisition of SheaMoisture’s parent company, Sundial Brands, in 2017, a fund called the New Voices Fund was established with financial support from Richelieu Dennis. This fund specifically targets entrepreneurs of color and has played a role in the success of eighteen individuals who have become millionaires.
The creators of the three successful companies, Kazmaleje, Scotch Boys, and Undefined Beauty, responded to inquiries about their participation in The Next Black Millionaires series, the products they offer, and other aspects of their experience.
